Dear all,

I hope you are all recovering safely from the effects of Tropical Cyclone Mal.

Following consultations with the University’s emergency response team, I am pleased to announce that all FNU campuses will reopen for normal University operations from tomorrow, Thursday, 16 November 2023.

Hence, all staff are required to report to work at your respective Campuses. Affected staff must liaise with their supervisors for Work from Home (WFH) provisions if required.

Students who are unable to return to campus must inform their respective lecturers. Staff and students who reside in flooded or flood-prone areas, and those who may be required to cross areas that are inundated with flood waters, are advised to take the necessary precautions and practice good judgment.

Therefore, returning to campus will be at your discretion and we request that you liaise with your lecturers and supervisors.
