About the Survey

  • This survey is part of a research project led by a regional consortium under the Pacific Women Lead@SPC programme of the Australian Government.
  • Fiji National University (FNU) is one of nine partner institutions.
  • The project will inform policy and provide recommendations to university management.

Why Your Participation Matters

  • Student perspectives are vital to understanding staff diversity and women’s participation in universities.
  • This research will help ensure Pacific youth voices and solutions are heard, recognising students as emerging leaders. 

What the Survey Covers?

  • Attitudes toward staff diversity and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) women’s leadership participation at universities.
  • Perceptions of preferred academic role models.
  • Views on how universities can promote diversity and STEM women’s leadership in decision-making. 

Confidentiality

  • All responses are strictly confidential and anonymous.
  • Data will be used only for research purposes and will not identify individuals.
