This Course is designed to provide students an insight into with an insight to Nature-Based Tourism. Students will acquire in depth knowledge and skills through research about Ecotourism, Nature-Based Tourism, Conservation, and Resource Management. It will provide opportunities for students to explore the impacts and importance of Nature-Based Tourism both at National and International level. It will focus on the current issues and trends that have direct impact on the industry’s performance in the South Pacific Islands nations.This course provides students an insight into diversity management and how to incorporate them in their respective workplaces. It also provides knowledge of organizational culture in different organizations in the Leisure service industry. Students also able to analyze and evaluate the socio cultural impacts of Leisure Tourism. They also practice the components of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences/Conventions and Events (MICE) and to incorporate it in to the business plan.
