This course is designed for students interested in an Accounting career. It also gives general understanding of how to
use accounting information, to anyone in the business environment. The course has a strong focus on decision making
role and help students attain general skills in accounting such as critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal
communication skills. Students should be able to monitor company's financial transactions. In addition, this course
focuses on an introductory understanding of accounting information system, accounting concepts, accounting principles,
accounting cycle, recording of transactions, and financial statement concepts. Furthermore, students should be able to
understand the financial performance and interpret the financial status of financial entities.
